Ectoparasites of birds and mammals
Taxonomy, faunistics, Siphonaptera, Hippoboscidae, Palearctic. Ecology of natural cycles of zoonoses (Hantavirus, borrelia and rickettsiae). Bioacoustics singing cicadas (Hemiptera: Cicadomorpha) and birds (Aves).
Prizes and awards
- 2008: Valvasor Award for 2007, the original implementation of the exhibition Secrets of the forest
- 2002: Award Zlati legat tor the best Slovenian work in the field of ornithology in 2002 for the audio CD Forest birds of Slovenia.
