• Project work on the project Control of vector-borne pathogens
• External collaborator of the Slovenian Bird Ringing Centre, Slovenian Museum of Natural History
• Research interests include the biology and ecology of owls, especially the great scops owl (Otus scops) and the spotted owl (Tyto alba).

• 2013: Scholarship of the Scholarship Fund of the University of Primorska for the best students of UP
• 2023: Gold award for the best improvement in public administration in the competition Moving Forward for the PSL web application for sustainable lifestyle
